As of 2016, these companies owe their trade creditors E3.1m

14 Irish companies are scheduled to hold a Meeting of Creditors (MOC) to appoint a liquidator next week (30th May - 3rd June 2016) - an average of almost three per day.

According to their latest sets of filed accounts, these companies owe their trade creditors a combined total of E3.1m.

Figures for the year show that MOCs are down on the same period in 2015.

Between January 1st and May 27th this year, 254 Irish companies have held a meeting in order to appoint a liquidator - this is down 20% on the same period in 2015 when 319 companies had held an MOC.
